Cheryl M. Wenzel, M.A. - Executive Producer
Moms Are Talking! TV is the brainchild of Cheryl M. Wenzel. After giving birth to twins, Cheryl discovered just how invaluable the support, opinions, and experiences of other mothers were in helping her navigate her way through the uncharted waters of motherhood. Moms Are Talking! TV is her way of giving back what she received from other mothers when she needed their support. Cheryl lives in Santa Clara, CA, with her husband, Keith, and her twins. She received her B.A. with an emphasis in Women's Studies, and an M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from ITP with an emphasis in Family Therapy. She has worked at Sobrato Family Living Center helping homeless parents get back on their feet, facilitated women's and new mom support groups, wrote for such mom's blogs as Silicon Valley Moms Blog, Type-A Mom, and Betty Confidential, and created a website called New Mother Central (no longer in publication). In her "spare" time, she enjoys studying spirituality, hanging with friends, gardening, reading, oil painting, meditating, and yoga. Marian Wilde - Director, Producer
Marian has been a sound designer for Bay Area theaters, created performance art pieces for art galleries and performances venues, made short films, and worked on more than 50 feature films, from big-budget Oscar winners to obscure independents, winning three Golden Reel awards from the Motion Picture Sound Editorsin the process. Marian is also a writer and has written two screenplays: The Druid Prince and Invocation, both semifinalists at the Chesterfield Film Company/Paramount Pictures Writer's Film Project. The Druid Prince was also a semifinalist at the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. She also won three first-place awards from the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club for her articles. Marian is the proud mother of two children, one in high school and the other in college.
Dr. Liza Shiff, M.D. - Director of Public Relations, Presiding Member of Health Advisory Board
Dr. Shiff held a private general practice in San Jose, California for over 13 years and helped run a family practice with her father, a renowned gastroenterologist, for over 20 years. She was featured as a San Jose Magazine "Top Doc" for 5 consecutive years, was a frequent contributor to Medical Economics Magazine, and ran a health newsletter for her patients. She received her MD from Boston University at the age of 21, and did her training in medicine at Georgetown university and UC Irvine. In addition, she served on the New England Medical Journal Student Advisory Board, pioneered a Keep Kids Healthy program in inner city Roxbury, was invited and attended President Bill Clinton's inauguration ceremony. In California, Dr. Shiff became certified in Medical Informatics at Stanford University, served on the Speaker Board for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, the YMCA Wellness Program, and the Diabetes Association. She was also on the Executive Council of Santa Clara County Medical Society for 4 years and served as the American Medical Women's Association Local Chapter President for 2 years.
Prevention and wellness are Dr. Shiff's passions and have led her to be a Founding Member of a multivitamin company based in Beijing, where she apprenticed with an old Chinese ayurvedist for two summers. She has been inspired by her family, especially her younger brother Louie, who has Down's Syndrome. She closed her private practice to spend more time with her 2 children, ages 3 and 5. She lives with her children, her husband, and her large dog in Mt. View, CA!

Chandra Hall - Co-Producer
Chandra is the Founder of Supernanny. She has been a nanny for almost 20 years and, just recently, became a mother herself to a beautiful daughter.
In addition to her nanny business, Chandra has assisted in producing and directing film clips, and has collaborated on a variety of ventures related to motherhood.
Becky Hellwig - Co-Producer
Becky, a native to San Jose, is a mom to a 2-year-old daughter and lives in San Jose with her husband, Olav. Two years ago she was appointed to represent District 1 as a Commissioner for the Santa Clara County Commission on the Status of Women. She is a community advocate and has worked diligently with local non-profits to improve the lives of others. Becky enjoys traveling, dancing, snowboarding, and hosting parties and playdates at her house. She is also a member of Las Madres.
